We have several owners who never went to school at Clemson University but are some of the biggest Tiger sports fans that we know. And it’s not just football. Quite a few owners come into town for baseball, softball, rowing, and men and women’s basketball and soccer as well. Some of our owners have never stayed a single night in their condo and never plan to. They are investor-only owners who are 100 percent in the on-site hotel management rental program, so their unit is available as part of the hotel inventory at any given time, and it generates revenue for the owner.

But a majority of our owners are a part of the rental program when they are not personally staying in their condo. It’s the best of both worlds in that they get to decide when they want to be at Lakeside Lodge and have the potential to generate revenue when they are not there. Even some of our biggest Clemson football fan owners willingly give up their condo for those high-demand home game weekends for the great revenue.
